Under the keycaps
A mechanical board collects debris under the caps and around the switch plate. A quick wipe cannot reach it. We pull the keycaps for a separate deep clean, clean the exposed board, and sanitize the case.
We tune each stabilizer so the larger keys feel consistent again. Once the board is back together, we test every key and photograph the finished work before return shipping.
The bench sequence

No. Stabilizer tuning is included in the $99 restoration. Switch lubrication will be a paid add-on later, but we do not offer it yet.
It can. Some manufacturers treat opening a case or breaking a factory seal as voiding the warranty. Check your terms first and tell us if there is a step you want skipped; we will work around it where possible or let you know if we can't.
